Some loving on the snow at Hotham.
It is 6 hours of coach ride from the city, 4 nights and 10 times the wickedness.
Had a freezing good time with Stef, Michelle and Dom.
Nearly busted my ankle and knee from the endless butt-sliding and falls.
It was all worth it.

NCL welcomes back “Park”

Filed under: Uncategorized — Green Guy @ 12:00 am

Stephen Park is returning to Norwegian Cruise Line in the UK with the promotion of Francis Riley to a Miami-based role.

Park will become UK general manager of the line from September 3, moving back to the company after two years as senior vice president of European sales for Kerzner International.

He will report to Riley who takes the newly created position of vice-president of international business development.

Riley moves to the company’s headquarters after two years as general manager of NCL’s UK office. He originally joined as sales director in 2004 and will report to Andy Stuart, executive vice-president of sales, marketing and passenger services.

In his new role, Riley will be responsible for business development outside of the US and Canada, including the company’s offices in the UK and Continental Europe.

The position has been created to continue NCL’s rapid expansion outside North America, which will accelerate in 2008 with the first ever dedicated sailings from the UK out of Southampton with Norwegian Jade and the largest NCL European deployment ever.

Stuart said: “International business has become and will continue to be increasingly important for us as we expand our European-based capacity.  It gives me great pleasure to promote Francis into this new role, which will bring increased focus to this important segment of our business.

“I am also pleased to welcome Stephen back to NCL. In 2008, we are dedicating a number of sailings of Norwegian Jade to the UK market so Stephen returns at a pivotal time as we expect to move into the fastest period of UK growth in the company’s history.”

Riley said: “I’m personally delighted to welcome Stephen back at this very exciting time in our development. Stephen’s knowledge of the business means he can step right back into the driver’s seat.”

Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go? Submitted by Sean & Stefan. Absolutely YES. I think I’d go back to Belize again but try out the mainland this time…Or go back to Haiti, back to Ibo Beach.
